Real Madrid legend Raul will retire from football at the end of the NASL season, but hopes to win a title with the NY Cosmos before his outstanding career comes to an end. Retiring New York Red Bulls forward Raul Gonzalez has said he would like to return to former club Real Madrid at some point, but that day remains far away in the future. Raul scored 323 goals in 741 games in 16 seasons as a Madrid player, a record only recently beaten by Cristiano Ronaldo. The former striker has been identified by some pundits in Spain as a potential coach who could have a similar impact to his former international teammate Pep Guardiola at Barcelona.
