Real Madrid ramp up goalkeeper search after Iker Casillas exit

ESPN FC's Alejandro Moreno believes Iker Casillas was not shown the proper respect during his departure from Real Madrid and places part of the blame on the media. Iker Casillas was given a fond farewell by Real Madrid as he left the club after 25 years. The ESPN FC crew debate whether or not Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos will remain at the Santiago Bernabeu despite the rumours of a move to Manchester United. Real Madrid have intensified their search for a goalkeeper following the departure of Iker Casillas with David De Gea, Kiko Casilla and Sergio Romero all potential options. AS reported on Wednesday that Real hoped the departure of Casillas to Porto would accelerate the deal to sign De Gea from Manchester United, but the paper reports that, while the keeper has made his desire to move to the Bernabeu clear, his club are refusing to budge on their €49 million valuation.
