The Germany Under-21 squad, led by FC Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen won 3–0 over Denmark in the second game of the group stage of the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championships, held in the Czech Republic. The Barça goalkeeper started and played all 90 minutes, and saw far less action than in his team's 1–1 draw with Serbia to open the tournament on Wednesday.

Winger Kevin Volland scored twice for Germany — once in each half — while the third goal came from centre-back Matthias Ginter.

The victory puts ter Stegen's team in first place in Group A with four points. They are trailed by Denmark and the Czech Republic, with three points each, and Serbia, with one. The final match of the group stage is on Tuesday when Germany face the Czech Republic and Serbia battle Denmark.
